Need A Volunteer/Helper For Someone Elderly, Sick, or Disabled?

Are you looking for a companion for someone elderly or sick? Do you need someone to drive someone to the doctor? Do you need errands ran for someone who cant do it themselves? Do you want someone who will sit with someone and read to them, listen to music, play board games, do crafts or just talk? Hi, My name is Vanessa and Im 29 years old. I reside in East County but am willing to travel all around San Diego. I want to find someone either elderly, sick, or disabled who might need my help. Why am I doing this you may ask? 1. I want to help someone who needs it 2. I have the time and resources to help with errands. 3. I love to chat and do fun activities. 4. I want to get experience in a caregiver role because its something I might want to pursue as a career and could use the experience. A little about me: I am married and have 2 dogs that are like my children. I am a manager in retail stores. I am very outgoing and smile a lot. I love to laugh and make people laugh. I'd like to think im a good person with a good heart. I enjoy tv shows and music from the 50s to now. I love playing games and doing crafts. I can bring some if requested. I can talk for hours or sit in silence and enjoy the company. I have done volunteering before at a couple museums, with animals, and for the environment. I just want to help someone in need. Whats the catch? Honestly no catch. Im not asking for money or gifts. I just want to help someone who could use it. I would like to do a phone interview first to make sure its a good fit. Then meet in a public place first before any home visits. No children or teens preferably.
